False Navigational Tools, how to We are going to address some of the questions we have received regarding navigating Simply Fishing Magazine. Let’s start with the very first thing you see when you open up Simply Fish-ing Magazine. In the upper left corner of the viewing window you should be seeing a series of buttons in a vertical lineup. Important Note: See the small ar-rowheads facing left in the upper left hand corner of the viewing window? Above the control buttons They are for hiding and exposing your button con-trol panel. If they are facing left your panel is open, if they are facing right your panel is closed. In which case you would want to simply select the right hand facing arrowheads and click on the buttons panel. The Content Button: The top most button is “ Contents”. When your mouse rolls over the button it will enlarge, Click the enlarged “ Content” button one time and the table of con-tents opens. Simply choose the page or article by selecting the thumbnail image or the text title. Either will ac-complish the same thing. If you wish to simply exit, click the X button in the upper right hand corner. The Thumbnail Button: The next button in the vertical lineup on the left hand side of the page is for Thumb-nails, simply click the “ Thumbnail” button and the screen will fill with thumbnail images. To proceed through the thumbnails images if you have more than one full- page value, sim-ply click the blinking arrowhead on the right hand center of the viewing window. Repeat the process until you have viewed all the thumbnails or have found what you are looking for and select it. Again to exit, simply click the X in the upper right hand corner. The Bookmark Button: The next button in the vertical lineup on the left hand side of the page is for Book-marks, simply click the button and fol-low the instructions. Very easy. Again, to exit simply click the X in the upper right hand corner. The Search Button: The next but-ton in the vertical lineup on the left hand side of the page is for Searching content via names, subject matter, or anything that is text sensitive, sim-ply click the enlarged button as you roll over it and follow the instructions. Very, cool. Again, to exit simply click the X in the upper right hand corner. The Zoom Button: The next button in the vertical lineup on the left hand side of the page is for Zooming in on objects or text. Caution, if the full page is hyperlinked and you select the page by clicking on it with the mag-nifying glass you will be linked. You can only select areas that are NOT hyperlinked to achieve magnification with this process. However, this will be

False to navigate the pages... explained further in the ( Also Located In section near the end of these in-structions). Again to exit, simply click the X in the upper right hand corner. The magnification process will expand the page up to 400% capacity, at which time you can grab the page and move it around inside the viewing win-dow. It is actually a floating page at that point. Your settings will be found just right of the tool when you select it. Use the slider to set your preferred value. The Print Button: The next button in the vertical lineup on the left hand side of the page is for printing pages. Again to exit, simply click the X in the upper right hand corner. The Send Button: The final button in the vertical lineup on the left hand side of the page is for sending pages to friends. Again to exit, simply click the X in the upper right hand corner. Page Turning: On either side of the book while in the viewing window, there will be two arrowheads, one on the left and one on the right. Use these arrowheads to turn or flip the pages by simply clicking on them. At the bottom of the page you will find a slider bar that allow you to slide the downward facing arrowhead ( right to left or left to right) to select a page of choice at which time you will simply click the arrowhead and you are there. The lower search button located in the lower right hand corner is NOT your search button of choice. Also located in the lower right hand corner you will find three redundant buttons. The first is a thumbnails but-ton, the second is a print button and the third, is a button that allow you to magnify a page. If an entire page is linked you will NOT be able to magnify it by the aforementioned process ( see ZOOM Button). If you were to click on the hyperlinked page this action will in fact take you to the connected link. Where if you were to go to a fully hyperlinked page, in this case we will go to page 4 in issue # 1 and click anywhere on the page, it will activate the linking process. However, go to the same page, page 4 and click on the magnifying glass IN THE LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER and your selection will enlarge and not hyper-link. You can also achieve the same results by selecting a fully hyperlinked page and then selecting the magnify-ing glass located in the left vertical column as well. Remember to us the magnifying glass button to both en-large and reduce in both cases. Play with it you will get the hang of it very soon.
